The number of immigrants arriving in Malta this year has exceeded the local birth rate, something which has never happened anywhere else throughout the globe - The Emigrants Commission said today.
The Commission stated that if the burden of irregular migration was shared equally among European member State, Malta would barely have 100 immigrants on the basis of land mass, however this is not taking place.
Malta currently has 40 migrants per square mile, more than the population in Finland per square mile.
