Hollywood legend Lauren Bacall vented out against Tom Cruise, in an interview to Elle magazine about Nicolle Kidman.
"Tom Cruise is a maniac. I can't understand the way he conducts his life," the actress said.
Bacall, who starred in noir hits like 'The Big Sleep' and 'The Dark Passage', is well familiar with Kidman, as the pair worked together on 2003 Lars von Trier film Dogville.
It was during that time that Cruise abandoned Kidman for new pastures.
"Tom had taken off for Penelope Cruz or some goddamn thing - one of his more ridiculous moves,” Bacall said.
Kidman, who was married to Cruise for nearly 10 years, showed a sunnier opinion of her former husband.
"That was an extraordinary thing for me. [Cruise] taught me an enormous amount - as a girl into a woman," she said. "Absolutely I would do it again."
