The American premiere of 'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor', held at the Gibson Amphitheater Studio on Sunday in Hollywood, dazzled with stars. Celebrities tried their best to outshine each other on the red carpet and promote the movie in the process.
Michelle Yeoh, who made an appearance in tune with the splendour of the evening plays the crucial role of sorceress Zi Yuan, who represents link between nature and humanity. Yesterday the actress was wearing a rather striking yellow dress and was the first one to grab the attention of the press.
The sexy ninjette character played by Isabelle Leong seems to be a comfortable one for the actress as she showed up in a black, femme-fatal style dress. The choice of make up with stress put on vividly red lips only enhanced her somewhat pugnacious look and brought a little grasp of the character she plays.
It seems like there is no middle way in marketing campaigns. While the women’s attire was well over the top, the men, with Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash in the forefront, chose rather minimalistic get-up. Maybe with the exception of Brendan Fraser, who did not let us down and kept an eternal smile on his chubby face all the way along the red carpet.
