Show yourself off, get spotted and win prizes!
We have become increasingly aware of the tendency for people attending parties and events to take pictures and then share them with friends mainly by uploading them onto on-line networking sites. In this day and age people seem to have become more self-conscious about their appearance and work on ensuring that they garner the most attention from the people around them. Vanity Fridays has at its core the notion of exploiting this need for people to be seen and most of all noticed. Fuelled by top local house DJs, special bar offers and an exclusive atmosphere the event is focused on putting people amongst the crowd in the spotlight and giving them their 15 minutes of fame.
Each week the promoters will select two girls and two guys who manage to attract their attention. A photographer will be in place to take their pictures which will then be uploaded on the Vanity Fridays website. At the end of each month, voting will take place and two lucky contestants will be crowned Mr and Ms Vanity and both will benefit from services provided by Hair Factory and a photo shoot by The Fashion Window.
When voting is complete, the first Friday of each month will be VIP night. During this night the winners and any 10 of their friends will be given VIP treatment. A balcony overlooking the DJ stage will be specifically prepared for the winners where champagne and finger food will be served. As Vanity Fridays is all about self-promotion, pampering those who have been deemed the king and queen of vanity will surely help maintain the culture of seeing and being seen amongst our crowd.
Vanity Fridays will start off on Friday 10th October and will host top local dj's including Toby, Duncan F, Joseph Armani, Stevy Vee, Clayton J, Tony Tony, JD Sky and Dale Degas amongst others. From time to time themed nights will be organised. These include RNB nights and Halloween special nights to mention but a few.
